Your album Do-It-Yourself. The DVD that is provided as a standard part of the service can be used to help you make your own album cheaply (from around £80 for a 42x32cm size) and quickly especially when combined with an online album producing and ordering software such as provided by http://www.cewe-photoworld.co.uk/. After installing the software on your computer you simply select the type of album you would like and just drag and drop the pictures on the DVD directly into the various templates that are provided for album layout. You can even have personalised background and pictures on the cover. When you have finished, the software then allows you to order and pay for the album online which is then printed and sent to you in a matter of days. There are several such services and some time spent researching the internet to find one that suits your particular need would be worthwhile. The production costs are good value for money and although not of the very highest quality they can still be excellent. Choose Neil Chanter Photography to produce a Wedding Book Album. Proofs will be presented of the quality images taken on the day in both colour and black and white format for you to choose the final prints that you would like in your finished album. An album layout design with your selection of images will be proposed for you to edit and alter to your taste before the album is completed for presentation. Please remember that these are only examples and if there is something that you would like included in your own album then digital techniques make almost anything possible in terms of design and presentation. After you have approved the design and layout there are several options at different cost levels. If the DIY approach is not for you but you would like to keep costs under control, or you would like a quick album before deciding on a higher quality final album, then you could ask for the DIY type of album to be produced by us. Even a 42x30cm size album would cost £100 for layout design plus from only £80 to produce (total £180). Another option the Spicer Hallfield 'Elizabethan' album (see the images on this page) is of exceptional quality and the most popular version is in black leather. However, as well as a wide selection of inclusive options for cover and mount colour, it is even possible to have your album bound in the material of your choice. Album prints will be made by us on advanced photograph papers rated at fade proof for at least 200yrs. This option costs from around £220 plus postage. The next quality and higher cost option might be a handmade album, again from an online supplier such as http://www.bagsoflove.co.uk. These cost in the region of £180 to produce, again plus the design and layout fee from us of £100 (total £280). The highest quality albums might come from a supplier such as Jorgensen. Please see http://www.jorgensen.com.au for an idea of the scope of their albums. These cost from £400 upwards just for Jorgensens services and an additional £100 for our design plus postage. Although they are an Australian company they are international and in this country they work from South West Photo Mounts based in Brixham, Devon.
